 Samburu Serena Lodge is situated in the riverine forest on the southern banks of the wide and meandering Ewaso Nyiro River in Samburu Game Reserve. All of the bedrooms have private verandahs overlooking the river and the thatched roofs blend in perfectly with the surroundings. Crocodile bask on the sand pits and a tree on the opposite bank of the river is 'baited' each evening and frequently visited by leopard. Facilities include a swimming pool. It has a total of 62 rooms , a dining room with an excellent bar. It also has facilities for bird walks. |

 Sarova Shaba Lodge is set just beside a natural spring on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the Shaba Game Reserve. Spring waters flow throughout the naturally landscaped grounds, rockeries and public buildings of the lodge and form beautiful fish pools and water cascades into the river. All bedrooms face the river and the thatched
roofs and stone and timber off-cut walls blend in perfectly with
the semi-desert landscape surrounding the lodge. Facilities include
an illuminated stretch swimming pool, beautifully designed around
gardens and rockeries with a shade island in the center. |
