A tranquil
oasis on one of Kenya's beautiful beaches. Kilifi Bay Beach
Resort is situated in Kilifi, 50 kms north of Mombasa. Kilifi
is an old coastal town which developed because of it's natural
harbour.
The resort is set in gardens of palms and cashew nut trees
with 130 meters of sandy beach frontage. There are 14 cottages
spread across the gardens which contain 49 spacious and comfortable
rooms. Each room is furnished Lamu style, has mosquito nets,
ensuite bathroom and private balcony.
There are 9 junior suites which are ideal for families. The
main restaurant serves international cuisine and there is
a coffee shop with snack menu. There are two swimming pools
- a plunge pool near the lounge area and a large pool set
in the middle of the resort. There are two bars one adjoining
the main pool. Volley ball, table tennis, darts, billiards
are on offer and there are bicycles for hire. There is a boat
for 'booze cruises' in the creek. Diving and big game fishing
can also be organised.
