Kichwa Tembo Camp is a permanent
tented camp situated at the foot of the Oloololo escarpment
on the edge of riverine forest just outside the western boundary
of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Camp enjoys a spectacular
view of savanna grassland, dotted with dark patches of woodland,
stretching endlessly towards the horizon. Accommodation is
in luxury tents all with ensuite bathrooms and verandah. The
Camp is discreetly protected by electric fencing. Facilities
include a swimming pool.
Activities on offer include game drives
in the Camp's four wheel drive vehicles with expert driver/guides,
bird walks with the resident ornithologist, hot air balloon
safaris and romantic candlelit dinners on the banks of the
Mara River.
