Indian Ocean Lodge is situated in four acres of walled gardens
on a coral promontory overlooking the Indian Ocean in Malindi.
Built in 'Lamu' Arab style with the atmosphere of an exclusive
Kenya coastal home. The five double rooms each have a four
poster bed, insect proof screen, overhead fan and ensuite
bathroom and balcony.
A delightful swimming pool is bordered by colourful bouganvillea
and the Lodge has its own private steps down to a sandy beach,
accessible at low tide. The cuisine is varied and excellent.
Tennis, golf, squash, windsurfing, scuba diving and deep sea
fishing can all be arranged at the Lodge. Your stay here includes
airport transfers, trips into Malindi for shopping, to Malindi
Marine Park for goggling and to Gedi Ruins, soft and alcoholic
drinks. A sum of $5 per person per day is charged at the Lodge
for staff tips.
